About Us

Our Story:

A legacy of three generations in original and natural fragrance creation. We are a family company which started with humble beginnings and pioneered natural, high-quality, hand rolled natural incense sticks in western India. About 70 years ago, our grandfather travelled across India for a few years and learned the art of making the best hand rolled Ayurveda incense sticks from the Indian monks, who made supreme quality incense with pure and highest quality natural and Ayurvedic ingredients. Ayurveda is considered to be one of the oldest ancient form of natural medicine for healing.

Our grandfather started a small venture to provide employment and support women in need to feed their families. Seven decades ago in India, women stayed at home to take care of their children and families, and did not leave their homes to work and earn for their families. After coming back home from his journey, our grandfather started to implement what had learned over the years. His will to make a change in the society for struggling women was firm and soon came up with an idea to deliver the raw materials to homes of the families in need and taught women the art of hand rolling the incense sticks on bamboo sticks, right in the comfort of their homes. After years of struggle and determination, he had successfully provided employment to hundreds of hard working women, who were able to work from their homes with flexible work hours.

To this date, we have continued our family's tradition and are committed to women empowerment. Today, each Fior Bel incense stick is handcrafted in our manufacturing unit by real women artisans who love and care about what they do and use this opportunity to sustain their way of life and keep their families thriving in the toughest conditions.

After living in California for a few years, we found out that people highly appreciated quality incense sticks, but there were none available. Incense users were not completely satisfied and did not want to compromise with commonly sold charcoal incense sticks. We surveyed hundreds of women and men who used incense sticks on a daily basis for yoga, meditation, enhancing cannabis experience, getting rid of odor, or just because they liked to be around fragrant atmosphere. After getting all the amazing reviews and love for our distributed samples, we were encouraged by incense users all over the world to start a natural, charcoal-free line of luxury incense sticks, which became an instant favourite, especially to people allergic to charcoal smoke.

Years of experience and R&D has enabled us to innovate, improve and redesign incense sticks. Our company, Fior Bel, is based in Los Angeles, California and we aim to provide highest quality customer service for our buyers. Our manufacturing unit is located in a western city of India, which is home to the Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram and recently named as India's first World Heritage City by UNESCO.
